Dr. Zaid Rana is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He currently serves as the Director of Endoscopy at Keralty Hospital and is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Rana graduated from St. John’s University and subsequently received his medical training at Nova Southeastern University, where he also obtained a Masters of Public Health degree. He then completed Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship training at Larkin Community Hospital, where he also served as Chief Gastroenterology Fellow.
Dr. Rana has a strong background in both medicine and public health and is well-equipped to tackle a wide range of health issues. He has years of experience in bariatric endoscopy and was one of the first gastroenterologists to offer endoscopic weight loss procedures, including ESG Stomach Tightening™, in the greater Miami area. Dr. Rana applies a multidisciplinary approach to weight management for his patients, by prescribing lifestyle modification and anti-obesity medications, in addition to performing endoscopic weight loss procedures. He has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence in patient care. Patients love Dr. Rana’s accessibility and the fact that he is fluent in 5 languages, including English, Spanish, Hindu, Punjabi, and Urdu.
