Your Patient Journey

Embarking on a weight loss treatment can stir a mix of excitement and apprehension. Our dedicated Patient Services Team is here to guide you at each step and address any questions you may have.

1

Initial consultation & intake

Your journey begins with a 15-20 minute consultation call with one of our Patient Navigators. During this initial assessment, they will evaluate your eligibility for our treatments.

If you qualify, you’ll proceed to a 30-minute virtual visit with a healthcare provider who will review your medical history and answer any medically specific questions.

Procedure date selection & payment

Once eligibility is confirmed, you’ll select a procedure date and make your payment. We offer a variety of payment options including bank transfer, credit card, and 0% APR financing.

Payments can be made directly via our patient portal or coordinated through your Patient Navigator. Insurance is not accepted.

Pre-procedure preparation

After your payment is processed, you’ll be instructed to have blood work done at a local Quest Diagnostics center. Prescriptions, if necessary, can be filled at your local pharmacy. Costs of medications are not included in your treatment package.

Before your procedure, you’ll meet virtually with your doctor, a Registered Dietitian, and a Physician Assistant to prepare for your treatment day.

Procedure day

On the day of your procedure, arrive at the surgical center at least one hour prior. You are required to bring an adult to accompany you home post-procedure. Once you’re checked in, you’ll be prepped for the operation, including changing into a surgical gown and initiating IV fluids.

The procedure lasts 20 to 90 minutes, depending on the type. Post-procedure, you’ll spend 1-2 hours in recovery before being cleared to go home.

First 72 hours

The day after your procedure, you will receive IV therapy for hydration and to help prevent nausea. Depending on the procedure, you might require a liquid diet for 2 to 6 weeks.

Additionally, one of our providers will check in with you during this time. Our medical team is accessible round the clock to address any concerns. Typically, patients resume work within 3-5 days post-procedure.

Comprehensive 12-month program

Your long-term success is our goal. Expect monthly appointments for 12 months, with our Registered Dietitian. You will also hear from your physician and their assistant. They may choose to prescribe anti-obesity medications to help you lose more weight.

Starting in the third month, an exercise physiologist will help you establish a healthy exercise routine. A smart scale connected to your patient portal allows us to monitor your progress closely, ensuring you stay on track for success.
